April Events

April 3, 2-4 pm, poets Diane Seuss and Elizabeth Kerlikowske and Bonnie Jo Campbell will be in the WMUK (102.1) public radio studios, helping fundraising by reading and writing poems in response to callers.

April 5, 5:30 - 7:30, BJC will be at Bell's Brewery, meeting Prof. Nels Christensen and a few of his Albion College students and drinking beer or soda pop with them. Nels Christensen has used used Women & Other Animals in his class.

April 22 at 7 pm, at the Comstock Public Library, 6130 King's Highway, Comstock, Michigan. BJC will present the Comstock Poetry Awards. Afterward will follow a Poetry presentation by Terry Wooten.

April 25 at 7 pm. at the Daily Brews coffee shop, BJC will read with Michigan poets Kathi McGookey, Danna Ephland and Julie Stotz-Ghosh for an Earth Day event. We'll read our own work and that of others. Address: 128 S. Main, Wayland, MI 49348. It's across the street from the library.

May 21 --- Bonnie Jo Campbell, author of American Salvage, and Michael Zadoorian, author of The Lost Tiki Palaces of Detroit, will read from their new books and sign copies at Schuler's Books and Music in Lansing, 2820 Towne Center Blvd. at 7:00 p.m.

May 22 --- WMUK public radio interview, according to Lorraine Coran, "will most likely air on Friday, May 22nd, during the 7am hour and again during the 5pm hour."
