October 6-8 - Montana Book Festival, Missoula MT Friday October 7 2:30 Panel, 5:00 Montana Public Radio interview, 8pm BJC is Gala Reader at Historic Wilma Theatre, along with Montana Poet Laureate Sheryl Noethe.

October 14-16 Southern Book Festival, Nashville 12:00 noon panel and reading October 15 (Arranged through W.W. Norton)

Oct 19-23 Wisconsin Festival of the Book. Oct. 20 Friday evening event (Arranged through W.W. Norton)

Oct. 31 - Nov 4, 2011 - University of Alabama visiting writer gig. (Arranged through Blue Flower Arts).

November 6 -- 10 am Church service with Susan Ramsey at Vinyard Church in Kalamazoo, 1030 Portage St, at Lake & Portage. All welcome. We'll talk about writing with young handsome Pastor Tim McNinch. (daycare and Sunday school available)

November 10 -- Comstock Story Project, 7pm Comstock Township Library. All welcome to come and share stories about Comstock, past and present. Cider, cheese and crackers and cookies!

November 13 -- Saturday, Grand Rapids Art Museum, panel about Michigan fiction round table with Caitlin Horrocks, 2:45-4:00. GRAM is at 101 Monroe Center in Grand Rapids.

November 26 -- Saturday 1-4 Signing for Paw Paw Library Fundraiser at Barnes & Noble in Portage, Michigan.

December 17 4-5 Kazoo Books, Parkview Store, holiday book signing with Joseph Heywood. Let's call it cocktail hour! Stop by and there will be writers all day.

December 28 - Michigan Literary Network (live on blogtalkradio.com) Wednesday, December 28 at 5:30 p.m. Listen in!

January 26 - MSU conference in Lansing,where I'll talk about meth use in Michigan in more stories.

Feb 9 - Vanderbilt University (Event arranged by Blue Flower Arts.)

Feb 15 - 17 Notre Dame writing conference, appearing along with Jaimy Gordon. (event arranged by Blue Flower Arts)

Feb 26 - Artifactory celebration of Kalamazoo poems at Kalamazoo Valley Museum, Kalamazoo.

1:30 - 2:45 pm National Book Critics Circle reading (along with Jane Smiley and others!) This will be in the conference hotel ballroom.

March 23 - Alumni events at Western Michigan University, alumni honors event
(BJC is the English Department's distinguished alum.), followed by reading at The Little Theatre at 8pm.

March 31 - Kalamazoo Public Library discussion about the book, Into the Beautiful North, led by BJC and Susan Ramsey. 6:30pm at Eastwood branch of KPL.

April 4 (or 18) Cromaine Library?
