April 7-10 (2010) AWP Conference BJC reads as part of Southern Review's 75th Anniversary Friday, April 9, 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM, followed by book signing hosted by Tattered Books. (Other Participants are Jeanne Leiby, David Kirby, Sydney Lea, Steve Almond, Jill McCorkle.) Also, Thursday, April 8 hardcover book signing hosted by WSUP (at WSUP booth) at 2:00 - 3:30.

April 11 (2010) Sunday, BJC will emcee the 2010 Community Literary Awards at the Kalamazoo Public Library.

April 13 (Tuesday) Delta Community College, 1961 Delta Road, University Center, MI 48710 (near Bay City, Michigan). Visit Jeff VandeZande's creative writing class, 6:00 pm, followed by a reading at 7:00.

April 14 (2010) Saginaw Valley State University: Class visit: 10:00 - 11:20 am, lunch with students, reading 2:30 - 4:00.

April 17 - Saturday, Michigan Notable Writers dinner in Lansing. BJC will be one of the keynote speakers. Book signing 5:00 - 6:30, ceremony 7:00-8:30

April 19-23 Writers Retreat at Fetzer Institute.

April 25 - Sunday in Detroit, 2-4 pm Downtown Writers Series The Scarab Club located at 217 E. Farnsworth at John R in the heart of the Cultural Center / Wayne State University Campus.
